Six commitments guide our work
Every outreach visit, training session, and partnership we take on falls under one of these areas — chosen because they are where our communities told us the need is greatest.
Maternal, Newborn & Child Health
Community-based outreach and health education that gets mothers and babies to preventive and primary care when they need it — not after it's too late.
Disease Prevention & Control
Awareness campaigns, screening initiatives, and counselling that catch communicable and non-communicable disease early, and stop it from spreading.
Community Capacity Building
Training community health workers, youth leaders, volunteers, and peer educators so the work is led — and sustained — from inside the community.
Women & Girls Empowerment
Skills development, entrepreneurship support, and livelihood initiatives that give women and girls real economic footing, alongside access to health and rights information.
Education & Life Skills
Keeping vulnerable children — particularly the girl child — in school and building the life skills they need for what comes after.
Protection & Wellbeing
Advocacy and support programs that address gender-based violence and safeguard the health, rights, and wellbeing of the whole community.

I-HOPE Initiative Uganda — formally Ignite Health Outreach for Prevention & Empowerment Network (U) Limited — is registered under Uganda's Companies Act as a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee, headquartered at Plot 2926, Block 7, Aminit Cell, Madera Ward, Soroti City.
The organization operates independently of any political party or religious denomination, and every shilling it receives goes back into its programs: no income or property is distributed to members for personal benefit.
